Regions of the US and Canada
Atlantic Coastal Plains- Runs along the Gulf of Mexico and east coast of US. Rich farmland and wetlands
Appalachian Mountains- 400 million years old, next to the coastal plains
Central Lowlands- Flat lands that make up central US, many farms with rich soil.
Great Plains- Grasslands with few trees, some cattle ranges or farms.
Rocky Mountains- Heavily forested area that runs from Mexico to Alaska
Intermountain Regions- Dry region with Plateaus and deserts.
Canadian Shield- Area around Greenland that stretches to US, has allot of copper and Iron. Not many people live there, it has a low population density.
